What it is like
Playa de Port d'Esclanyà, also called Calas de Fornells, is a very sheltered beach between large rocks, formed by rounded stones and facing a mountainous setting. Its 90 metres in length and 14 metres in width provide calm waters, vegetation and low occupancy, with an anchorage. Together with platja d'en Malaret, it forms part of the coves of Fornells, linked by a coastal path. Access on foot is easy from the GIP-6532, with a nautical club, cleaning and litter bins.
