Playa Fonda is recognisable by its dark grey sand, spread between rocky walls covered with pine vegetation. It is an isolated beach 130 metres long and 15 metres wide, with mountainous coastline, moderately wavy waters and an anchorage area. Access is on foot and difficult, via the GIP-6532, a point worth bearing in mind when planning arrival. The listing records little specific equipment, although it does note litter bins, cleaning and food services; the natural surroundings and absence of buildings define its identity.
