Playa Villaricos is recognised for its location beside the castle and its dark gravel shore, linked in the listing to former smelting slag from the site’s mining past. Its 450-metre length and 30-metre width form an urban and semi-urban frontage of calm waters, accompanied by a seafront promenade and vegetation. The surroundings are included in a ZEPIM and have a marina, a yacht club and diving services. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the AL-7107, with between 50 and 100 parking spaces.
