Playa Son Bou is one of the large sandy beaches in southern Menorca, with 2,300 metres of golden sand and an average width of 40 metres. Its semi-urban frontage retains vegetation and a regenerating dune area, while calm waters and high occupancy combine with a tourist offering and extensive facilities. The beach has bathing markers, boat launching channels, SOS buoys, a volleyball net and public picnic tables. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the C-721, with more than 100 parking spaces and an interurban bus service.
