What it is like
Cales Coves is a small gravel cove set between cliffs with numerous caves that can be reached on foot. The beach is 20 metres long and 16 metres wide, has calm waters and forms part of an isolated setting protected as an Área Natural de Especial Interés. Although the frontage is rugged, it can be reached on foot, by car or by boat; there is parking for fewer than 50 vehicles and the Me-12 road serves as a reference. The description records marker buoys, litter bins and a cleaning service.
