Playa Santiago stretches for 1,000 metres, although it is only 10 metres wide, with a composition of dark sand and gravel. The semi-urban frontage is accompanied by a seafront promenade, vegetation and surroundings protected by habitats of Community interest and a Biosphere Reserve. The usual waters are calm and occupancy is medium. The area has hotels and restaurants. It is easily reached on foot via the GM-3, with parking for between 50 and 100 vehicles and urban transport; there are toilets, showers, restaurants and a sports area.
