What it is like
Playa de Chinguarime is set at the bottom of a ravine and retains an isolated, tranquil character, with dark sand and gravel facing a vegetated mountainous landscape. It is a long, narrow beach, 800 metres long and 30 metres wide, with calm waters and low occupancy, within the Biosphere Reserve. Usual access is by boat, although the entry also records difficult access on foot and the GM-3 as the reference road. The nearest marina is Puerto Deportivo de San Sebastián.
