Playa San Marcos is a sheltered urban beach of dark sand, 160 metres long and 40 metres wide. The seafront promenade and urban frontage frame a beach with high occupancy and moderate waves, connected to the Garachico marina. Its practical facilities include catering, showers, toilets and a yacht club. Access is on foot from the area around the TF-42, with an urban bus service and facilities for people with reduced mobility; the stated parking capacity is fewer than 50 spaces.
