Playa San Juan is recognised for its position beside the port and the breakwater that shelters it, a configuration explaining the presence of numerous boats. The dark-sand beach measures 360 metres in length and 30 metres in width, forms part of a semi-urban frontage and has calm waters. The seafront promenade and vegetation accompany an area protected as habitats of Community interest. It is easily reached on foot, with interurban bus service on line 473 and adapted access. Facilities include showers, restaurants, sunbed and parasol hire and a children’s area.
