What it is like
Playa de Abama is an artificial beach of golden sand, remodelled and linked to the Hotel Abama tourist complex, although access is described as completely free and unrestricted. The beach is 100 metres long and 20 metres wide, with low visitor numbers and calm waters along a semi-urban waterfront with a promenade, vegetation and natural habitats of Community interest. It is reached by car and also by interurban bus on route 416, with adapted access. Practical facilities include toilets, showers, foot-washing facilities, cleaning, food establishments and hire of sun loungers and parasols.
