Playa San Jose extends in front of the urban centre of San José as a golden sandy beach 850 metres long and 40 metres wide. The seafront promenade, vegetation and calm waters form an urban setting integrated into the Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata-Níjar, Biosphere Reserve and ZEPIM. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the AL-3108, with parking for more than 100 vehicles. Practical facilities include toilets, showers, nautical hire, a yacht club, a sports area, a children’s playground and adapted accessibility.
