Beach at a glance
What it is like
Playa Saiñas is an isolated, little-visited beach in Cambados, formed by golden sand and rock. Its 300 metres of length contrast with a width of only 3 metres, on a semi-urban frontage with vegetation and within a Ramsar and ZEPA area. The usual waters are calm. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the CC-550, with an interurban bus service between O Grove and Cambados. The listing records no bathing facilities, so its narrowness, isolation and relationship with the protected area are its main distinguishing features.
