What it is like

Playa O Facho is a small area 50 metres long and 19 metres wide, formed by sand and rock and used for shellfish harvesting. The golden sand forms part of a semi-urban setting with vegetation, calm waters and Ramsar and ZEPA protection. Its low occupancy and compact dimensions give it a character different from that of the large nearby beaches. It is easily reached on foot or by car from the CC-550, with an interurban bus service; the listing records no other beach services.
