Playa Retorta is a semi-urban beach of white sand, 550 metres long and 19 metres wide, set against a mountainous coastline. Its usual waters are calm and the beach has high occupancy, with a promenade, vegetation and an aquaculture park behind the beach. Access is easy on foot or by car via an access track, with parking for fewer than 50 vehicles and an urban bus service. Toilets, showers, food services and a connection to the port of Cabo de Cruz complete a well-equipped and accessible beach.
