Playa Retamar takes its name from the nearby housing development and forms an urban frontage of dark gravel, 1,250 metres long and 45 metres wide. The seafront promenade accompanies a beach with high occupancy, moderately wavy waters and windy conditions, with an anchorage area. Access is by car via the AL-3115, with more than 100 parking spaces and an urban bus service. For everyday use it offers toilets, showers, catering, parasol and sun-lounger hire, a sports area, shade from pergolas and adapted facilities.
