Playa La Restinga occupies a small shore of dark sand and gravel in the fishing village of La Restinga, home base of the island’s fleet. Its dimensions are modest—50 metres long and 10 metres wide—but the urban seafront includes a promenade, moorings and calm waters, within a Biosphere Reserve. Occupancy is medium and access is easy on foot, with parking for more than 100 vehicles. Restaurants, diving centres, showers, foot-washing facilities and a tourist office complete the practical facilities.
