What it is like

Characteristics published by official sources

Beneath the Rande Bridge, in the strait of the same name, Playa Rande occupies a small cove of golden sand and calm waters. Its 100 metres of length and 15 metres of width are associated with a semi-urban setting with vegetation, incorporated into a Natural Area and the Natura 2000 Network. Occupancy is low and access is easy on foot or by car, with adapted parking and an interurban bus connection. Facilities are limited to litter bins and cleaning, with Chapela marina as a nautical reference.
