What it is like
Playa de Cabanas is a golden-sand beach in the narrow Rande Strait, below the bridge of the same name. It measures 100 metres in length and 25 metres in width, with a semi-urban frontage, vegetation and protection under the Red Natura 2000. Its waters are calm and usual occupancy medium. Access on foot is easy from the CN-552, and there is an interurban bus connection between Pontevedra and Vigo.
