Playa Pozo Izquierdo, also called El Arenal, extends for 1,280 metres over a surface formed by sand, gravel and rounded stones. Its width is limited to 20 metres, and the semi-urban frontage is exposed to windy conditions and moderate waves. Windsurfing is expressly associated with this area, which also includes a sports area and a surfing area. Access is easy on foot or by car, with an urban bus connection on lines 8 and 9 and basic cleaning and litter-bin services.
