What it is like
Playa Piedra Villazar takes its name from the rocky structure set into a shore of dark sand, rock and gravel. The urban beach is 298 metres long and 20 metres wide, located opposite the Parque Comercial, with high occupancy and moderate swell. The immediate surroundings include the Parador de Turismo de Mojácar, while the beach itself offers wooden walkways, catering, a sports area and a children’s playground. It is easily reached on foot or by car, with more than 100 parking spaces and urban and interurban buses.
