What it is like
Playa del Palmeral forms a broad urban beach in Mojácar beside the mouth of the Aguas River and near a quiet residential area. Its dark shore of sand and gravel reaches 596 metres in length and 20 metres in width, with usually low occupancy. It is easy to reach on foot or by car from the AL-5105, with between 50 and 100 parking spaces and urban and interurban buses. The surroundings offer food service, nautical hire, showers and children’s areas.
