Playa O Fogareiro is a small semi-urban stretch of golden sand and rock located beside Playa San Francisco. Its 300-metre length and just 10-metre width form a narrow strip, with an urban coastal frontage and calm waters. It is easily reached on foot from San Francisco, passing over some rocks, and there is also an interurban bus connection from the C-550. The beach offers showers, foot-washing facilities and cleaning as its main practical amenities.
