Playa Morouzos is distinguished by its extensive dune system, linked to a pine grove with a recreational area, while normally only the central third of the beach is used. The dark-sand beach measures 2,800 metres in length and 110 metres in width, with an isolated frontage of dunes, vegetation and protection as a Site of Community Importance (SCI), Special Protection Area for Birds (ZEPA) and RAMSAR site. The seafront promenade accompanies this open landscape, with moderate waves and a windy character according to the description. It is easily accessible on foot or by car via the DP-6110, with more than 100 parking spaces, showers and food service.
