What it is like
Playa Montalvo is a long, isolated beach in Sanxenxo, surrounded by vegetation and with a semi-urban seafront. Its 900-metre length and 80-metre width are covered by fine sand and have open conditions, with high visitor numbers. Although separated from the urban centres, it is easily reached on foot or by car, with signs, more than 100 parking spaces and an interurban bus. The listing records adapted toilets, showers, cleaning, food, rental services and summer lifeguarding.
