Playa Melenara is an urban beach of dark sand, 350 metres long and 30 metres wide, integrated into a semi-urban frontage with a seafront promenade and vegetation. Its usual waters have moderate waves and attendance is high. The surroundings offer an easy connection with the city and services intended for everyday use. It is reached on foot or by car via the GC-116, with urban transport on route 2 and parking. There are accessible toilets, showers, foot-washing facilities, catering, a children’s area and assisted bathing.
