Playa La Garita is an urban beach of dark sand, 260 metres long and 25 metres wide, accompanied by a seafront promenade. Its urban frontage has high occupancy and usually windy conditions, with strong waves. Catering, showers and foot-washing facilities provide practical support for a beach of modest scale, connected with Muelle de Taliarte. It is easily reached on foot or by car, with parking, urban buses on routes 1 and 2 and access for people with reduced mobility.
