What it is like
Playa Los Olivos, also known as L'Illa, is an urban beach of golden sand measuring 400 metres in length and 80 metres in average width. Vegetation and the protected Red Natura 2000 surroundings provide a natural counterpoint to a restricted coastal frontage, while its calm waters and high occupancy explain the heavy summer influx. The beach also stands out for its range of services, including nautical equipment hire, a sports area and facilities for spending time there. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the CV-500, with fewer than 50 parking spaces and an urban bus service.
