Playa Las Negras is sheltered by the small village of the same name, which shapes its immediate landscape. It is an urban beach 650 metres long and 25 metres wide, composed of cobbles, rock, gravel and dark sand, with a seafront promenade and calm waters. The vegetation and surroundings belong to the Parque Natural Marítimo Terrestre de Cabo de Gata-Níjar, declared a Biosphere Reserve. Access is easy on foot or by car via the AL-3106, with between 50 and 100 parking spaces, toilets, showers and nautical services.
