Playa El Playazo de Rodalquilar stands out for its setting in the middle of the Almería desert and within the Parque Natural y Reserva de la Biosfera de Cabo de Gata-Níjar. It is an isolated mountain beach with golden sand, 400 metres in length and 100 metres in width, where calm waters predominate. Access begins along a dirt track near Rodalquilar and can be made easily on foot or by car via the AL-4200. There are between 50 and 100 parking spaces, as well as basic cleaning and diving services.
