What it is like
Playa La Ventilla is distinguished by its 1,100 metres of semi-urban coast, of which only 650 metres are developed; the rest is covered by La Ventilla’s former palm grove. The sandy shore combines coarse-grained sand and rounded stones, with seabeds described as admirable and shallow areas, beside a protected Posidonia barrier reef. Access is easy on foot or by car, with more than 100 parking spaces, an interurban bus and adaptations for people with reduced mobility. Practical facilities also include a promenade, cycle lane, beach bars, toilets, showers and sports and children’s areas.
