Playa La Jara stretches for 2,600 metres along a semi-urban frontage of golden sand protected by rocky massifs. This configuration is expressly associated with very calm waters and ease of navigation by pleasure craft. Vegetation borders a beach 40 metres wide, with a promenade and basic bathing, cleaning, catering and boating-hire services. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the La Jara road; it has an urban bus and surveillance and first-aid services.
