Playa La Calzada is an urban beach of golden sand reaching 2,300 metres in length and 60 metres in width. Its breadth explains the setting for the famous horse races organised every summer, a feature it shares with the names El Hipódromo and Playa de Sanlúcar. The seafront promenade accompanies calm waters and high occupancy, with food services, sports, nautical activities and children's games. Access is easy on foot or by car, with parking for more than 100 spaces and an urban bus service.
