What it is like
Playa Horcas Coloradas is a newly created beach in the northern part of Melilla, open to the sea and backed by a cliff frontage. Its 400 metres of golden sand and width of 40 metres form a medium-occupancy urban area with moderate swell, a seafront promenade and an anchorage area. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the ML-106, with more than 100 parking spaces. Services include toilets, showers, adapted access and hire of parasols.
