What it is like
Playa de La Alcazaba is a newly created urban beach in the northern part of Melilla, open to the sea and situated opposite a cliff. Its 200 metres of golden sand, with a width of 30 metres, form a stretch with medium visitor numbers, moderate waves, a seafront promenade and an anchorage area. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the ML-106, with more than 100 parking spaces. It has toilets, showers, adapted access, parasol hire and first aid.
