Playa Formentor, also called Cala Pi de la Posada, forms a long, narrow strip of white sand in an isolated mountain setting. Its 840 metres of length and just 8 metres of width are framed by vegetation, calm waters and an anchorage area, within a Site of Community Importance (SCI). Access is easy on foot or by car via the Ma-2210, with a supervised car park holding between 50 and 100 vehicles and an interurban bus service. The beach also has catering, toilets, showers, nautical activities, diving, and parasol and sun-lounger hire.
