Cala Murta occupies an isolated strip 85 metres long and 25 metres wide, enclosed by a mountainous frontage. Its shore consists of white sand and gravel, in a vegetated setting protected as an ANEI. Land access is difficult according to the description, while arrival by sea is the stated option; the nearest road is the Ma-2210. The cove is expressly associated with diving and permits anchoring, two uses consistent with its remote character and nautical connection.
