What it is like
Playa Dicido is an isolated and quiet stretch 300 metres long and 30 metres wide, situated in a mountain setting. Its composition combines sand, cobbles and gravel, with golden sand, vegetation and a mountainous coastal frontage. Occupancy is low, but the usual waves are described as strong and windy, a contrast forming part of its character. Access is by car from the CN-634, with fewer than 50 parking spaces and an interurban bus between Santander and Bilbao. The record lists toilets, showers, food, cleaning and a seafront promenade.
