What it is like
Playa de Ponent, or Poniente, is a small coastal stretch of Mataró made up of golden sand and rocks. Its 180 metres in length and 16.5 metres in width form a quiet semi-urban space crossed by a seafront promenade. It is easily reached on foot or by car from the N-II, C-32 or C-60, with more than 100 parking spaces and urban and interurban transport. It has adapted toilets, showers, drinking water and visitor support services.
