Playa de les Botigues is the largest beach in the entire municipality of Sitges: a golden beach 1,415 metres long and 100 metres wide. Although its development is semi-urban, the coastal frontage is recorded as urban, with a seafront promenade, calm waters and an anchorage area. It is in the urban centre of les Botigues and is easily reached on foot or by car, with more than 100 parking spaces. For practical use, the listing records beach bars, sun loungers, awnings, showers, foot-washing facilities, walkways and access to the bathing area by amphibious chair and adapted toilets.
