What it is like
Playa de Les Avellanes, also known as Platja del Camping, is a small urban beach in the centre of L’Ampolla. Its 170-metre length and average width of 32 metres consist of golden sand, with calm waters and high occupancy; the seafront promenade and anchorage area complete its coastal profile. It is easily reached on foot, by car or by boat, with parking for fewer than 50 vehicles. Useful facilities include toilets, foot-washing facilities, nautical equipment hire, a sports area and assisted bathing for people with reduced mobility.
