What it is like
Playa de L'Arenal is characterised by fine golden sand, typical of the beaches of the Delta, and calm, shallow waters. It is a semi-urban beach 1,800 metres long but only 17 metres wide, accompanied by a promenade and vegetation within the Parque Natural. In the northern area, 500 metres away, there is the promenade’s children’s area, while the lagoon of les Olles is listed as a place of natural interest. It can be reached on foot, by car or by boat, with parking for between 50 and 100 vehicles, toilets, catering and nautical equipment hire.
