Playa de La Solsida forms part of the coastline that Altea shares with Punta del Mascarat and the Sierra de Bernia, where several shingle coves appear. This stretch measures 1,400 metres in length and only 8 metres in width, with cobbles and rock, a restricted urban frontage and low occupancy. The usual swell is strong. Access on foot from the N-332 is difficult; the record also identifies it as a nudist beach associated with the protected area indicated.
