Cala de la Barra Grande is Altea's last beach within the coastal complex formed by the punta del Mascarat and the sierra de Bernia. Its 50 metres of length and 7 metres of width bring together pebbles and rock on an urban frontage with restrictions, low occupancy and moderate waves. Access on foot from the N-332 is difficult, with an interurban bus stop 800 metres away. The listing identifies it as naturist and records an anchorage area.
