Playa de L' Arenal is the busiest beach in Jávea and forms an urban sandy beach of golden sand 550 metres long and 80 metres wide on average. Its calm waters, seafront promenade and the presence of the only Parador Nacional on the Costa Blanca—as stated in the record—make it a clearly urban and heavily used frontage. Access is by car via the Arenal road, with more than 100 parking spaces and an urban bus service. Facilities include toilets, food and drink, sun-lounger and parasol hire, a sports area and diving.
