What it is like
Playa de Gavà is an extensive strip of golden sand reaching 3,800 metres in length and 42 metres in width. Its semi-urban setting and medium occupancy are associated with calm, though also windy, waters on an urban-character coast. The northern part is also known as Playa del Estanuy. Access is on foot or by car via the C-31 and C-32, with more than 100 parking spaces and the L95 and L89 bus routes. The record lists walkways, adapted showers and an amphibious chair.
