Beach at a glance
What it is like
Playa El Cura is a small, quiet beach in Mogán, measuring 193 metres long and 34 metres wide. Dark sand and pebbles occupy an urban frontage accompanied by a seafront promenade, vegetation and ZEC protection; the usual waters have moderate waves. On the right-hand side there is an area for playing volleyball, a detail that gives its use a distinctive character. It is accessed on foot or by car via the GC-500, with fewer than 50 parking spaces and interurban transport. There are foot-washing points, food and drink establishments, sun lounger and parasol hire and a cleaning service.
