Playa de los Frailes is a small, quiet beach of sand, gravel and rounded stones, situated in a ravine and accompanied by a marine platform that the listing describes as interesting. It is 60 metres long and 20 metres wide, with dark sand, vegetation and moderate waves; it is also listed as a nudist beach and protected as a ZEC. Vehicle access from the GC-500 is restricted, although the walk is described as easy and an interurban bus service is available. The listing warns that it is uncomfortable for bathing.
