What it is like

Playa Coto is a rustic beach of great extent and a tranquil atmosphere on the Lugo coast. Its 1,900-metre length and 200-metre width form a broad white-sand beach beside dunes and cliffs. The beach is separated from Remior by the Pena da Salsa, associated with a former bathing area exclusively for women. The dune system is protected and undergoing recovery. It is easily reached on foot via the LU-0610, with more than 100 parking spaces, a promenade, showers and toilets.
