Playa Charco Verde is an isolated beach of dark sand, 271 metres long and 48 metres wide, set into a cliff frontage. The protected landscape—Protected Landscape and Biosphere Reserve—is combined with vegetation and an anchorage area, while the usual swell is moderate. Although isolated, it is easily reached by car via the LP-213, with parking for between 50 and 100 vehicles and interurban transport. There are showers, foot-wash facilities, restaurants, sunbed and parasol hire and a lifeguard service.
