What it is like
Playa Centro is La Vila Joiosa’s large urban sandy beach, 1,380 metres long and 30 metres wide. Its calm waters and golden sand form part of an urban frontage with a seafront promenade, vegetation and a natural groyne; the Moorish landing takes place in this area. Occupancy is high, and there is an accessible, assisted area at Basseta l'Oli, beside the harbour groyne. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the N-332, with more than 100 parking spaces, an urban bus service and adapted access. There are toilets, foot-washing facilities, restaurants, rental services, sports and children’s areas, and an anchorage area.
